Klo Mitchells
A young detective in the Sydney3 Police Force, Klo has spent the majority of her life following in Gabe’s footsteps in hopes that one day she will be able to use her police training to find out what happened to her father.
Samurai Unicorn
A mysterious samurai guardian generated by the parasitic gauntlet. Unicorn is only concerned with Klo’s safety and will stop at nothing to ensure that she is kept safe from the dream eaters.
Gabe Adams
An ageing detective on the cusp of retirement and Klo’s godfather. Despite his many years of service, Gabe is skeptical of the S3PF’s methods and often tries to help the lower level communities in ways that keeps their troubles off the records.
Devin Solomon
A Goliath Psyop and second in command to Director Soren. As a liaison with the S3PF, Devin has been assigned to Klo in order to monitor her activity and provide analysis on the parasitic gauntlet's growing abilities.
Commissioner Roe
As the elected leader of the Police Council, Commissioner Roe divides her attention between the day-to-day management of the city and operations of both major branches of the S3PF. She is the single most powerful individual in the city and entirely subject to the whims of Goliath’s board of directors.
Amorpheus
A visionary with a seemingly noble cause, Amorpheus wants to empower the people of Sydney3 to realise their dreams and break free of the shackles that Goliath has placed on them. With his loyal dream eaters by his side, Amorpheus uses charisma and persuasion to achieve his goals, choosing only violence when all other options fail.
Mister Grey
A man hopelessly dedicated to the dream eater cause, Mister Grey is Amorpheus’ most trusted confidant and oversees the hefty task of finding suitable hosts. He is the only person to successfully bond with a parasite and fail to have his heart’s ambitions transformed into the immense power of a dream eater.
Fenris
One of Amorpheus’ oldest allies and most feared warriors, Fenris is a creature of hate that cannot be stopped when he sets his eye on a target. Fueled by an endless rage, Fenris lives only to vanquish his master’s foes, a desire that frequently puts him at odds with the cause.
Corpse Processor
The mastermind behind the parasitic headsets and true source of the VRmin plague, Corpse Processor is a vile Dream Eater that relishes in the finer things, like vivisection and torture. Though he sports a smaller build than most of his brethren, Corpse Processor is still a formidable foe, able to teleport in short bursts and strike quickly with his twin daggers.
Thousand Eye Stare
A performer at heart, Thousand Eye Stare is a Dream Eater that revels in the show. Covered in eyes that bind an audience to her will, she is a mesmerising force of theatrics and devastatingly explosive attacks.
Old Jalopy
When a parasite successfully bonds with a host, their heart’s deepest desire is awakened, manifesting as a monstrous perversion of their ambitions and creating a powerful Dream Eater. For some this is a reflection of a lifelong goal, for Old Jalopy, it was the obsession of becoming the fastest creature on four wheels.
Mother of Infection
If Amorpheus’ plan is to come to fruition, then he will need many Dream Eaters by his side. Thus Mother of Infection was born out of the desire to nurture the infant parasites and ensure that they are successfully bonded to suitable hosts. With her spider-like limbs and penchant for genetic manipulation, Mother of Infection is a particularly unsettling creature that spends her days tending to sickly experiments.
Vyxem.E
Leader of Faux/Pass and revolutionary dedicated to dismantling Goliath’s control of the city. As a child of two Goliath managers, Vyxem witnessed first-hand what sort of apathy can be born of a life disconnected from the harsh realities of the common civilian. Determined to be better than their parents, Vyxem seized their parents' assets and distributed the wealth to the lower levels before running away to start the first Faux/Pass cell.
Whiskey
After his time fighting in the resource wars of the mid 21st century, Whiskey received extensive genetic therapy and cybernetic augmentation to recover from his injuries. By the time he was discharged, the world had irrevocably changed and left him with little options. Fortunately he found a new purpose as the owner of the Snoofer Bar and the de facto leader of the Bell St Laneway community, a place for people of all forms to find respite from the harsh world of Sydney3.
Manny
A former Goliath M4NTICORe security bot and now bouncer at the Snoofers Bar, Manny is a quiet soul who still mourns the death of his wife. While these wounds run deep, he has become a loyal friend to Whiskey and together the two have started to heal through a romantic relationship born from their shared heartache.
Director Soren
Instrumental in the early days of Sydney3’s reconstruction, Director Soren is the secretive head of the Goliath’s Special Research Division. She is one of the only people granted direct access to the Executive Board and is authorised to operate however she sees fit to expand Goliath’s influence and technological superiority.
